Hello,
My name is Mike and I am from Salem Oregon. I
moved up here to a small town north of Hillsboro Oregon in 1985 and have
lived here since. I joined the Knights of Pythias in 1999 after being
asked to do so for about 5 years. Funny how those things work out I
thought I was too busy to join and then I do it anyway. A fraternal
organization is one that has an honest desire to do well for the
community and our fellow man. When we see a community need we try to
fill it.
Many great opportunities to help are here with us. We do
not subscribe to pushing a religious belief on any one other than their
personal belief in a supreme being that is above us all. Yes, even if
you only believe in the Great Scoutmaster above then you may join our
fraternity.
Our order is very old and with out new members joining
we will not exist. Do you want something to do a couple nights of the
month where your input and help will be valued, where you can make a
difference and at the same time help others. Give the Knights of Pythias
a chance to be there for you. We would very much enjoy your opinion and
friendship.
