We are proud to announce the 14th annual Wapato Showdown, scheduled Saturday, August 21st, 2010 in Gaston.
We wish to thank you, our sponsors, for the friendship and generosity that has been exhibited throughout the years by the owners, employees, and representatives of all businesses and individuals who have helped. We have been able to continue to build a better event and relationships with your support.
Last year, in spite of the economy, we had our largest turnout of cars, bikes, and spectators ever. The credit goes to the car and bike enthusiasts who bring all their spectacular creations and ideas to Gaston.
We are holding the cost of the trophy sponsor at $90. t-shirt’s will be available at an additional $10 a piece, and you may preorder as many as you would like.

Sponsor names and phone numbers are still on the back of the shirts, and sponsors will be named on the public address system throughout the day. Enclosed is an invoice for your records and our tax id# is 23-7576601
As sponsors you will pick the car or bike of your choice to receive a trophy. Please have a representative at the show by 12noon. The public address announcer will inform the sponsors where to meet for instructions for trophy selection.
We will be able to offer overnight camping, but no sanitary or electrical hookups are available. this area is in the field east of the show parking.
This is a nonprofit event hosted and coordinated by nonpaid volunteers for car and bike ENTHUSIASTS, WHICH directly benefits all the other nonprofits in Gaston.
The Gaston Knights also coordinate the Gaston Good Ol’ Days Parade which takes place Friday evening August 20, 2010. We have a web site at www.oregonpythian.org/gaston/ where you can view and download information.
